From Sea to Shore - A first Solo Exhibition: by Amanda Curbishley

Local artist Amanda Curbishley is pleased to announce that she will be holdng her first solo art exhibition. The exhibition’s theme is the sea and everything related to it, from seascapes and beaches to harbours and boats. It will be held at The Stables, The Courtyard, Claydon Estate, Middle Claydon MK 18 2EX from 11th-19th August 2018, 11am-5pm. The exhibition will be closed 16th and 17th. The Courtyard is free to enter and there is easy parking.

All original work is for sale along with limited edition prints, cards and sea glass jewellery, so anyone can take some of the sea home with them! Amanda will also be working

on a painting during the exhibition. Amanda is a contemporary artist in acrylic and mixed media and specialises in marine art. Her brightly coloured work ranges from the representational to semi-abstract. Amanda is a member of the Buckinghamshire Art Society, National Acrylic Painters Association and the Visual Images group and she has exhibited throughout Bucks and has taken part in the Royal Society of Marine Artists and the ING Discerning Eye exhibitions at the Mall Galleries in central London. Amanda has also exhibited at the ‘Not the Royal Academy’ at the Llewelyn Alexander Gallery, London and with the National Acrylic Painters Association in St. Ives.
