Wonderful scenery and amazing wildlife, catch the Red Kites and Buzzards soaring on the thermals. If you are very lucky you might also catch sight of deer and hares.

We are pleased to be able to offer the chance to race Run the Claydons this year. It will however be a different event to usual due to COVID-19. In summary there will be minimal on the day activity other than starting, running and finishing the course. Your race details and number (with timing chip) will be posted out to you. No spectators will be allowed in the start/finish area and should not gather outside of family groups on the course. Toilet facilities, with hand gel, will be provided between car park and start. We will call groups of runners forward from the parking area to the start area where you can queue up at 2m intervals. Runners will be started in alternate lanes at 5 second intervals. Water stations will be self service. As there are self operated gates on the course please use the hand gel before and after racing. There will be two finish funnels and athletes will be alternated between these before self serving to collect a medal & drink. After finishing please return to your car. Competitor times will be texted out where we have a number and published online after the race.
